My name is Scott Pollard and I am the owner/guide of Xstream Fishing Guides and Washingtonstatefishingguides.com. I have been fishing for salmon and steelhead in the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years. I started fishing when I was very young, some of my fondest memories are spending summers at my grandparent's Hood Canal home and fishing from sunrise to sunset.
Throughout my formative years I was surrounded by excellent fishermen. My grandfather and I took annual salmon and bottomfish trips to Westport. My uncle, a phenomenal river angler, taught me how to fish in the rivers. From the moment I caught my first steelhead on the Green River I was hooked, river fishing became my passion.
In 2000 I decided to share my love and enthusiasm for fishing with others by becoming a full time fishing guide. I am licensed by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife and fully insured. I am also Red Cross first aid and CPR certified. My goal is to provide a safe and fun fishing experience for you and your family.
